Founders and Pioneers
More than 30 years ago, Mr. DI Mag. Klaus Hötzenecker and Mag. Karl Mühlstein founded LISA, a branch of education that was unique not only for the time. It started with a single class with motivated, inquisitive students, a handful of enthusiastic teachers, and a group of supportive parents. For more than two decades, DI Mag. Hötzenecker as headmaster of the Europagymnasium and Mag. Mühlstein as LISA coordinator have steered the fortunes of LISA and worked tirelessly on the development of an educational opportunity that is unique in Austria. What is particularly remarkable is the fact that this enabled students in Linz to obtain an international degree regardless of their social, financial or family background.
Such a success story could only be written because DI Mag. Hötzenecker, Mag. Mühlstein and their team had technical know-how, creativity, the will for further development, tireless persistence and persuasiveness. The most important “tool” to establish such an extraordinary educational institution was certainly its approach to always putting the well-being and the academic and personal development of each individual student in the foreground.
Dr. Wolfgang Litzlbauer
Dr. Wolfgang Litzlbauer has been closely associated with LISA for many years. He supports the further development of our school branch not only in his professional function but also as a private person. We owe his initiative to equipping LISA with modern laptops, which are now regularly used in class.
In addition, Dr. Litzlbauer generously supports LISA at numerous events and thereby emphasizes the appreciation of our educational offer. He acts as a convinced “ambassador” of our international training in Upper Austria and is regularly convinced of the quality of training as a guest at our events.
