Activities

For you as the class parent representative, we have put together an overview of important basic but also optional activities.

Beginning of the school year

Beginning of the school year Introduce yourself briefly to the class parents and the class board (KV) and agree on the type of communication (e.g. WhatsApp group, email distribution list, …).

Constantly

Continuous forwarding of information from the Homeroom teacher and the support association to all parents in their class. Add the contact details of new parents in your class to the mailing list. Welcome them into their class group and point out the diverse range of offers for new families.

1-2 times per school year

3 extended board meetings

3 Meetings of the Extended Executive Committee Meetings of the Extended Executive Committee of the LISA Support Association take place three times a year. You and your deputy are automatically members of this body. Please ensure that at least one representative per class takes part.

Last but not least

Here you will find further ideas for optional events that have already been successfully implemented in the past. Here, too, the support association will be happy to help and advise you on the preparations.

Important

For the drama performances of the individual classes, the class parent representative organizes a small buffet with the class parents for the audience and students.

Ideas

a picnic after school, an afternoon barbecue, a parents’ table, a book club, or hikes

Chatter Box Club

An entertaining opportunity to brush up on rusty English skills. For example, parents of different mother tongues meet once a month in a relaxed atmosphere and the conversations are conducted in English

German conversation

international parents meet to improve their German language skills in an informal way

Club trial

are you active in a (sports) club? Invite the class parents / families to get a taste of their club.
